Lancaster PA Christmas lights in 2026 start with two drive-throughs and one walk you can price from a page, plus a free walk inside the same downtown stadium. The Christmas Spirit Light Show runs at Penn Medicine Park, 650 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603, from November 27 through December 31. Sunday through Thursday it is open 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. The operator’s prices are $25 per vehicle for up to 8 passengers, $35 for 9 or more, and $75 for a family season pass. Discover Lancaster lists the Stone Gables Estate drive-thru in Elizabethtown from November 20, 2026, with the dates section running through January 2, 2027, and a regular vehicle at $30. Christmas Tree Lane, the walking display at the same stadium, is the one event both the operator and Discover Lancaster call free.
This page is the county lights list. It is not the Hershey page. Hershey Sweet Lights is not returning in 2026; the short statement and the link are below, and ticket prices for Hersheypark Christmas Candylane stay on that other guide. Koziar’s Christmas Village is in Bernville, Berks County, so it is a link, not a Lancaster row. Every date, hour, price, and street address below was on the source named in that section on October 26, 2026. If a page did not print it, it is not in the table.
Driving miles are a separate measurement from the same day. The U.S. Census Bureau geocoder matched 25 South Queen Street at Penn Square to 25 S Queen St, then matched each published street address except one. An OSRM driving route ran from that origin to the pin. The result is a route estimate, not a promise about traffic on a Saturday in December. Census returned no match for 455 Camp Rd, Stevens. That pin is the OpenStreetMap house match for 455 Camp Road in Clay Township, Lancaster County, 17578, and the page says so in the Refreshing Mountain section.
The photo at the top of this page is the interior of the Lancaster Amtrak station on December 15, 2012, decorated for Christmas, photographed by Niagara. It is a daytime station interior. 2026 Christmas lights compared
Rows are displays with a 2026 date on a page checked October 26, 2026. Laurel Avenue in Lititz is described later and is not a row, because the park page does not print a 2026 start or end. Hershey Sweet Lights is not a row, because the park says it will not return. “Price as shown” is the figure on that page, not a guess at tax or a December Saturday add-on.

Checked October 26, 2026. Source links are in each section. The Stone Gables row follows that listing’s dates section and Rates list. The same Discover Lancaster page has a shorter date heading and a different Admission line, and both conflicts are spelled out below rather than smoothed over.
Christmas Spirit Light Show
This is the close drive-through. The operator’s site says the show is back for a ninth season at Penn Medicine Park in downtown Lancaster. The address is 650 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603. From Penn Square the Census pin is 0.95 miles and about 3 minutes. You are not leaving the city.
The 2026 schedule on that page is November 27 through December 31. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. The page describes a mile-long track and hundreds of thousands of color-changing lights set to Christmas music, watched from the car. It calls the drive-through the featured piece of Christmas at Penn Medicine Park.
Prices on the operator’s page, for Monday through Sunday:
- $25 per vehicle for up to 8 passengers.
- $35 per vehicle for 9 or more passengers.
- $75 for a family season pass with unlimited entry.
Tickets can be bought at the entry gate or pre-purchased. The page lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash. It does not publish a separate online-versus-gate pair of prices. Holiday-themed snacks, drinks, and light-up items are card or tap only. The page does not print a weather-cancellation rule, so this guide does not invent one.
Two smaller events sit on the same page and are not the regular drive-through rate. On December 6, 2026, a bike-through is listed from 5:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at $5 per rider, with kids under 5 free. Payment is on site, and donations are accepted for The Common Wheel bike programs. That block also repeats a sentence about a 5K or a 1-mile stroll. The December 11 listing is the one headed as the dash: December 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m., in Christmas attire, a 5K or a 1-mile stroll, $40 for past participants and $45 for new participants, open to all ages.

Stone Gables Estate Christmas Light Drive-Thru
Stone Gables is the longer drive-through, in Elizabethtown, and the estate’s own site and the tourism listing do not say the same amount of detail. On October 26, 2026, the estate’s upcoming-events page did not print a 2026 drive-through calendar or a vehicle price. The National Christmas Center page says the museum is open select dates from March 28 through November 21, 2026, and that it is “Opening November 20th for the Christmas Season.” That page gives the phone 717-902-9791 and the estate address 1 Hollinger Lane, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. It does not give a museum ticket price, and it does not give drive-through vehicle rates. The dates, hours, and prices below are Discover Lancaster’s event listing.
The dates section says November 20, 2026 through January 2, 2027, and it says the last drive-through of the season is January 2, 2027. It lists closures on Sundays, November 23, November 24, November 25, November 26, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. The heading at the top of the same page reads “November 20, 2026 to December 30, 2026.” Those two date ranges disagree. This guide follows the dates section, because that block names the last night as January 2, 2027.
Hours in that listing: Monday through Saturday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on November 28, December 5, December 12, December 19, December 21, December 22, and December 23. The listing says the event is drive-through only, with no parking and no walking around. It describes a 3-mile route, well over 1 million LED lights, and a 2026 theme, “Nativities Around the World.” Named pieces include the Star Barn Village, Herr’s Mill Covered Bridge, a decorated Harrisburg, Lincoln and Lancaster Railroad steam train, a Moravian Star Forest, Candy Cane Lane, 9-foot nutcrackers, a 9-foot Santa, a keepsake booklet, a military tribute, and a life-sized Nativity.
The Rates list on that page:
- Regular vehicle, up to 8 passengers: $30.
- Large vehicles, 9 to 20 passengers: $50.
- Small buses, 20 to 30 passengers: $100.
- Large buses, 30 or more passengers: $200.
Buses must be pre-booked at 717-902-9791. A separate Admission line on the same page lists $30 for a car up to 8 people, $50 for a car with 9 to 15 people, and $100 for a car with 16 to 23 people. That Admission line does not match the Rates list. The figures in the table on this page are the Rates list. If you are bringing a van or a bus, call before you go. The listing’s contact block also shows (717) 287-6283. The weather line is 717-902-9791: watch email and social media, or call. The listing says related refunds are issued within 7 to 10 days. If you bought online, have the ticket ready when staff wave you through.
The entrance the listing prints is not the Hollinger Lane estate address. It says to enter at Brittany’s Hope, 1160 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, and to type that address into a GPS. From Penn Square that pin is 21.9 miles and about 31 minutes. Checked October 26, 2026. Refreshing Mountain Christmas Light Experience
Refreshing Mountain is a walk, a zip, or both, on a camp property in Lancaster County. It is not a drive-through and it is not free. The page address is 455 Camp Rd, Stevens, PA 17578. The phones are (717) 738-1490 and toll-free (888) 353-1490. Census had no match for that address on October 26, 2026. The driving figure uses the OpenStreetMap house pin for 455 Camp Road, Clay Township, Lancaster County, 17578: 18.3 miles and about 37 minutes from Penn Square.
The walk is labeled “$6 - $12 child | adult.” The FAQ says “Starting at $6-12 to walk through the lights” and “$49-69” to zipline. The zip cards are $49 per person for 1 zip plus 33 obstacles, $59 for 2 zips, and $69 for 3 zips. The FAQ answer to “Do you have a free walking path experience?” is “We do not.”
The walk is about three quarters of a mile of trails, with more lights on the property. The page says guests typically plan 1 to 2 hours. The cafe is open every day of Christmas lights from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. That is the cafe line. The page does not print a separate walk open and close, so 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. is not treated here as the walk gate hours. Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed, with the page’s own caveats: some paved areas, a rough and uneven path, and a hill. Registered service animals are welcome. Pets are not.
The calendar introduction says advanced reservations are required, and that one parking pass is included per reservation. An additional vehicle is $10. The FAQ also says the camp encourages advance reservations, that sell-outs are not uncommon, and that registered guests may park. Both wordings are on the page. Large-group walk, zip, and banquet options are named without dollar prices, so none are added here.
The line above the calendar says available dates appear in blue. The nights marked on the calendar, checked October 26, 2026, are these. November 2026: 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, and 29. December 2026: 1, then 4 through 23, then 26 through 30. December 2, 3, 24, 25, and 31 are not marked. January 2027: 1 and 2 only. The first marked night is November 13, 2026. The last is January 2, 2027. The season is not a continuous run from the first night to the last. An inaugural Christmas Market is listed for Sunday, December 6, 2026, time to be determined, amidst the lights. December 6 is one of the marked light nights.

Dutch Winter Wonderland
Dutch Winter Wonderland is a short section here. It is a walk-through park night with lights, not a drive-through, and the full park page on this site is Dutch Wonderland. The special-events index lists it from November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027. The event page says it begins on select dates starting November 14, with 10 or more activities and 20 or more rides, and “the sparkle of thousands of holiday lights.” It names cookies with Santa, visits with Santa, and festive magical light shows. Cookies with Santa run November 14 through December 23. It says buying a 2027 Gold or Platinum Pass gets this year’s Winter Wonderland free, and it says “Save up to $60.” It does not print a single-day ticket price. A hotel package is not admission, and no package price is used here as a ticket.
Discover Lancaster lists the same November 14, 2026 to January 3, 2027 window, the address Dutch Wonderland, 2249 Lincoln Hwy E, Lancaster, PA 17602, the phone 1-866-386-2839, and admission as “Admission varies.” It names Illumination Lane among the activities. No dollar amount was on that listing. From Penn Square the Census pin for that address is 4.9 miles and about 11 minutes.

Strasburg Rail Road Night Before Christmas
Night Before Christmas is a train, and the railroad’s own page is why it is on a lights guide: the steam train “travels after dark past twinkling Christmas lights.” It is a 45-minute round trip to Paradise with evening storytelling, carolers, milk and cookies, and Santa. Trains run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from November 21 through December 20, plus Monday through Wednesday, December 21 through 23. The page does not print clock times, so none are added from another site.
Online or credit card: $47.70 for adults 12 and up, and $37.10 for children 2 to 11. Cash at the box office, or a Strasburg Rail Road gift card: $45 and $35. Children under 2 ride free on a lap. Parking is free. The page says Christmas trains sell out and recommends booking online. The ticket link on that page is a 2026 event URL. This guide links the railroad’s event page only. The station address is 301 Gap Road, Ronks, PA 17572. The phone is 1-800-514-3849. From Penn Square the Census pin is 9.8 miles and about 21 minutes. The county page is Strasburg Rail Road. If the night is part of a Ronks show trip, the lodging comparison is hotels near Sight and Sound. Checked October 26, 2026. Source: Night Before Christmas.
Free Christmas lights in Lancaster County
One display in this guide is free on both the operator’s page and the tourism listing. The others in this section are dated town lights whose pages do not print a ticket price. This guide does not upgrade “no price printed” into “free.”
Christmas Tree Lane
Christmas Tree Lane is the walking portion of Christmas at Penn Medicine Park. The operator says you walk inside the ballpark, past over 100 decorated trees, and that this portion is free. A vote is $2, and the page says 100 percent of the voting proceeds go to the nonprofit. Free pictures with Santa are listed every night. Live reindeer are listed for December 10, December 17, and December 20.
Discover Lancaster lists December 4, 2026 through December 24, 2026. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. It also says the event is closed Monday, November 30 through Wednesday, December 2. Those three days fall before the December 4 start the same page prints. The operator’s site does not print the December 4 start date. This guide uses Discover Lancaster for the date range and both pages for the statement that the walk is free.
Discover Lancaster also lists free pictures with Santa, pictures with holiday characters every Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. (December 4, the Grinch; December 11, Anna and Kristoff; December 18, Elsa and Olaf), dog photos with Santa on Wet Nose Wednesdays, live reindeer, and story time with Mrs. Claus every Saturday night. The contact block on that listing spells the stadium “Penn Medicne Park.” The street is the same one the operator prints: 650 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603. Admission on the listing is Free. The phone on that listing is (717) 475-0783. The drive is the same stadium pin as the drive-through: 0.95 miles and about 3 minutes from Penn Square. Checked October 26, 2026. Sources: Discover Lancaster’s Christmas Tree Lane listing and the operator page.
Mayor’s Tree Lighting
The city’s tree lighting is November 27, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., in Penn Square. Santa arrives on a fire truck with the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire. The mayor leads a countdown and a community sing-along. The page lists live music, a DJ, and food trucks (Cool Beans Brew, Nil’s Funnel Cakes, and Phusion). It says Central Market will be open late, and it repeats extended hours at the market. Cookies and hot cocoa are in the Lancaster Marriott lobby at Penn Square. A parranda continues to Bert and the Elephant after the lighting. The page lists Fulton Theatre among the performances. It does not say the event is free, and it does not print a ticket price, so the table does not call it free.
The footer gives the Lancaster City Welcome Center at 38 Penn Square, Lancaster, PA 17603, phone 717-735-3138. That welcome-center pin is 0.06 miles from 25 South Queen Street. The tree itself is in Penn Square. Those welcome-center weekly hours are not the event hours. Checked October 26, 2026. Source: Mayor’s Tree Lighting.
Lititz
Venture Lititz lists Christmas in the Park for Friday, December 4, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Lititz Springs Park, 24 North Broad Street, Lititz, PA 17543. It is outdoors at the band shell: local performers, a carol sing with candle lighting, and the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree. Food vendors and restrooms are on site. The page does not say the event is free, and it does not print a ticket price. From Penn Square the Census pin for that address is 8.6 miles and about 17 minutes.

Photo: Lititz Spring Park, July 30, 2022, by Ximoxion, via Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 4.0. The file title uses “Spring.” The event page calls the park Lititz Springs Park. This is a daytime summer view, not the December 4, 2026 event.
The Lititz Springs Park page describes two more light visits, and neither one is a confirmed 2026 dated row. The trolley views 21 or more holiday light displays. Tickets are in person at the welcome center, sales begin December 6, cash or check only, $18 for an adult and $9 for a child. The page says “Two Saturdays: December 13 and December 20,” with tours on the hour at 5, 6, 7, and 8 p.m., and 24 seats. It does not print a year. December 13 and December 20 are Sundays in 2026, so this guide does not list the trolley as a 2026 ride. The welcome center phone on that page is (717) 626-8981.
Laurel Avenue Lights is the starting point of the self-guided tour on the same page. The show begins each night at 5:00 p.m. sharp, with Santa in the window at the start. It runs until 10:00 p.m., and until 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The audio is 88.3 FM. General Sutter and 504 E. New Street are also on 88.3 FM. Paper maps are at Laurel Avenue Lights, the welcome center, and Bombergers. The page does not print a 2026 season start or end, it does not give a house number, and it does not say the tour is free. There is no drive time for that reason, and there is no separate event entry. Checked October 26, 2026. Sources: Venture Lititz, Christmas in the Park and Lititz Springs Park.
Kitchen Kettle Village
Kitchen Kettle’s winter page says “November 27th through December 19th 2026.” The kickoff is Friday, November 27, open until 8 p.m., with a tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. The page says “Come and enjoy the beautiful lights of the village as you shop.” That is village lights during a shopping visit, not a separate ticketed light-show admission. The same page names Dinner with Mrs. Claus and Yummie on Friday nights from November 27 through December 18, 2026, Breakfast with Santa on Friday, November 27 and Saturdays from November 28 through December 19, 2026, and a Holiday Tasting Tour on Friday, November 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. It does not print dollar prices for those events or for the lights, so this guide does not call the visit free and does not borrow a price from another page. The footer address is Kitchen Kettle Village, 3529 Old Philadelphia Pike, Intercourse, PA 17534, phone 800.732.3538. From Penn Square that pin is 10.7 miles and about 21 minutes. The village page on this site is Kitchen Kettle Village. Checked October 26, 2026. Source: Kitchen Kettle winter holiday fun.
How to plan the night
Buy from the operator when the operator says so. Christmas Spirit takes tickets at the gate or pre-purchased. Stone Gables tells you to have an online ticket ready. Refreshing Mountain’s calendar introduction says advanced reservations are required, and the FAQ says advance reservations are encouraged because nights sell out. None of those instructions is a link that pays this site. This page does not sell the tickets.
Use the hours you can actually read. Penn Medicine Park closes at 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Stone Gables closes at 8:00 p.m. except the seven nights it lists at 9:00 p.m. Refreshing Mountain prints cafe hours of 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on light days and does not print a separate walk close. That is not a claim that a weeknight is quieter. These 2026 pages do not publish a crowd calendar.
Weather is a phone call only where a page gives one. For Stone Gables, the listing’s line is 717-902-9791, and it says related refunds are issued within 7 to 10 days. Christmas Spirit’s page did not print a weather-cancellation rule on the day it was checked.
Two stops are easy to mix into this list and do not belong as Lancaster light rows. Hersheypark’s Candylane page, checked the same day, answers “Will Hershey’s Sweet Lights be offered in 2026?” with “No. After 20 seasons of holiday magic, Hershey Sweet Lights will not return in 2026 as we focus on growing Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.” Candylane is a walk-through on select dates from November 13 through January 3, at 100 W. Hersheypark Drive, Hershey, PA 17033, with over 5 million lights. The prices stay on the Hershey Sweet Lights guide. Koziar’s Christmas Village is a walk-through in Bernville, in Berks County, not Lancaster County. Dates and prices for that show are on the Koziar’s Christmas Village guide.
American Music Theatre is a Christmas show on Lincoln Highway East, Winter Wonderland, not a light display. This page does not restate that show’s dates or ticket prices. For a family-style dinner on a night that is not built around a stadium, Good N Plenty is the restaurant listing on this site. This page does not restate its hours.
Frequently asked questions
When do Christmas lights start in Lancaster PA?
The earliest marked light night in this guide is November 13, 2026, at Refreshing Mountain in Stevens. That calendar is not open every night through January 2, 2027. Dutch Wonderland lists Dutch Winter Wonderland on select dates starting November 14, 2026. Discover Lancaster lists the Stone Gables drive-thru from November 20, 2026. The Christmas Spirit Light Show at Penn Medicine Park starts November 27, 2026. Discover Lancaster lists Christmas Tree Lane at the same stadium for December 4 through December 24, 2026. All of those pages were checked October 26, 2026.
Is there a drive-through light show in Lancaster?
Yes. The Christmas Spirit Light Show is a drive-through at Penn Medicine Park, 650 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603, from November 27 through December 31, 2026. Sunday through Thursday the hours are 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday they are 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. The operator lists $25 per vehicle for up to 8 passengers, $35 per vehicle for 9 or more, and a $75 family season pass. A second drive-through, at Stone Gables Estate in Elizabethtown, uses the entrance Discover Lancaster prints at 1160 North Market Street. Hershey Sweet Lights, the Hershey drive-through, is not returning in 2026.
What are free Christmas lights near Lancaster?
Christmas Tree Lane is the display this guide can call free. Discover Lancaster lists it as a free event with no tickets, December 4 through December 24, 2026, at Penn Medicine Park, 650 N Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603. The operator also says that walking portion is free. A $2 tree vote is optional and is not admission. The Mayor’s Tree Lighting on November 27, 2026 does not print a ticket price, and this page does not call it free because the city page does not say free. The Lititz pages checked the same day do not say the self-guided lights are free.
How much is Stone Gables?
Discover Lancaster’s Rates list, checked October 26, 2026, shows a regular vehicle up to 8 passengers at $30, large vehicles of 9 to 20 passengers at $50, small buses of 20 to 30 at $100, and large buses of 30 or more at $200. Buses must be pre-booked at 717-902-9791. A separate Admission line on the same page lists different passenger bands for cars. The table on this page uses the Rates list. The estate’s own site did not print a 2026 drive-thru rate card that day.
Is Hershey Sweet Lights open in 2026?
No. On the Hersheypark Christmas Candylane page, checked October 26, 2026, Hersheypark answers “Will Hershey’s Sweet Lights be offered in 2026?” with: “No. After 20 seasons of holiday magic, Hershey Sweet Lights will not return in 2026 as we focus on growing Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.” Candylane ticket prices are on the Hershey Sweet Lights page on this site. This page does not repeat them. The park does not say the drive-through is gone forever.
Are Lititz lights free?
The Lititz Springs Park page does not say the self-guided tour is free, and it does not print a 2026 admission price for Laurel Avenue. Venture Lititz’s December 4, 2026 Christmas in the Park page does not list a ticket price. The park page lists trolley prices of $18 for adults and $9 for children for December 13 and December 20, with no year, and those dates are Sundays in 2026, so this guide does not treat the trolley as a confirmed 2026 ride.
Do I need a reservation for Refreshing Mountain Christmas lights?
The Christmas Light Experience page says advanced reservations are required in the calendar introduction. The FAQ on the same page says the camp encourages advance reservations, that sell-outs are not uncommon, and that registered guests may park.
